Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 October 2026.

This policy covers the GongLogic apps and games (the language readers, dictionaries, flashcards and exercise books, and the arcade games such as Moo Mash and Pickle Park) and this website. In short: the apps have no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and they do not need an account. Two things can be sent to me, and only when you choose to send them: feedback from the reader apps, and a Moo Mash leaderboard entry.

What the apps keep on your device

Your progress, saved games, scores and settings are stored on your device and are not sent anywhere. Deleting an app deletes them.

What can be sent to me

Feedback (the reader apps)

If you send feedback from inside an app, it carries your message, what kind of feedback it is, the app and story it is about, the app version, your device model, operating system version and language setting, and an email address only if you choose to type one in so I can reply. I use it to fix problems and answer you, and nothing else.

Moo Mash leaderboard

Moo Mash has no ads, no analytics and no accounts. If you choose to put a run on the world leaderboard (SUBMIT on the game-over screen), the game sends the initials you typed (up to three letters or numbers), the run's score, the kind of device (phone, tablet, desktop or browser) and the time. They are shown publicly on the leaderboard. Nothing else leaves your device, and nothing is sent unless you press SUBMIT.

Deleting your Moo Mash data. To have a leaderboard entry removed, send a message through the contact page with the initials, the score and roughly when you played; the entry (initials, score, device kind and time) is deleted within 30 days and nothing of it is kept. Everything else Moo Mash knows about you is on your device: deleting the game deletes it.

Downloading content

When an app downloads stories or its catalogue from this website, the request carries nothing about you beyond what any web request does (your IP address, which the server sees but I do not use to identify you).

This website

gonglogic.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google processes this data under Google's Privacy Policy; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Purchases

Paid apps and any purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. I never see your payment details.

Sharing

I do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone, except where the law requires it. Everything the apps send travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Keeping and deleting

Feedback is kept while it is useful for fixing and improving the apps. Leaderboard entries stay on the leaderboard. To have feedback you sent or a leaderboard entry deleted, get in touch through the contact page and I will remove it.

Children

The apps are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has sent me some, get in touch and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If what the apps send changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
